I want to make simple 3d games in construct 3. But the current 3d version is terrible.
I suggest adding more basic/simple shapes like: ball, cylinder, cone, more triangles.
Also, the ability to rotate 3d objects along all three axes of XYZ coordinates is very much lacking. To make an environment, you have to pervert and add several 3d objects and disable some faces for them.
I would like 3d objects to set a minus height in order, for example, to bend the triangle in the other direction.
The second screenshot shows the convex part of the roof. To create it, I made 4 objects and turned off the faces with them. This is very inconvenient. I am waiting for new 3D shapes, the ability to rotate them along three axes and set a minus height.

The 3D shape definitely could use some more features like this. It's definitely possible to make a full 3D game in C3, but some things are a headache because of things like you listed.
100% agree. We're not expecting improvements to be at the level of unity or unreal. But just something with allitle more flexibility than what it currently is right now. Having a 3d camera viewport, import objs/fbx files, and simple light as a bonus.
From there Construct will see amazing games coming out from the 3d community!!
hello, i also agree we should have more functionality,,, suggestions: 3D XYZ Ray Cast (without having to do the maths add the behaviour or 3D.ZRayCast() it is possible not noob friendly),, i hope for low poly spheres... I Hope we can get 3D XYZ Rotations aswell... Awesome feature so far otherwise, i reccomend picocad look it up on youtube..
